Training and Outreach

 Part of the responsibiltiies for the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission includes providing training and outreach to the community.  This is accomplished through special Commission events and through individualized training.  Our staff is available to come to your business or organization to provide this training, free of charge.  Please phone the Commission at 260-472-1146 to speak with an investigator about this valuable tool.

The Commission is dedicated to providing the community with different opportunities to discuss human rights, civil rights and their impact on our lives.  We have worked diligently to provide different topics and forums for the public including an annual Fair Housing Conference, an Equal Pay Day Discussion forum, a Multicultural Human Rights Camp and Focus on Ability, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the American's with Disabilities Act.
